Have you experienced Nick and Charlie by Alice Oseman yet?
What can I say? Reading Nick and Charlie’s continued story was like going home, like putting on a comfortable pair of slippers. It’s just way too cute.
But what really struck me personally is that I went through the exact same issue that Nick does in this novella (and ended up in the same university! 😂). It’s like @aliceoseman plucked the story out of my life (I suppose that’s just good writing eh?).
I first read the Heartstopper webcomic long before the Netflix show aired and it’s had a place in my heart ever since. So reading this brought back a wealth of memories.
How do you blend sweet and sentimental and cute with edginess and fear and depression? Ask Alice Oseman. She deserves all the praise. ALL THE PRAISE! ♥️
